About This Book: A few years ago, I started the practice of trying to write 100 words every day to put on my blog for helping artists. One of the challenges of doing this is finding something to write about. While searching around for things to write about an idea hit me. I always loved reading quotes. They brought me such inspiration. Why don’t I just write my thoughts about the quotes I loved? The only problem was that I wanted these posts to stand out. I didn’t want to use a generic stock image to make my point. I wanted to make something unique, so I decided to create the art for each post. This was the beginnings of the book you are about to read. While quotes can contain a great deal of inspirational power, I’ve always felt that stories tend to best drive the point home, so I made a point of trying to find people who embodied each quote. After a few months of finding creative subjects and writing their stories, my book project was finally coming to life. The final touch would be compiling all the art and stories into a book. Luckily, I am a designer by trade, so I was able to format the book and put it together myself. The result is the book you see before you. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did making it come to life.
